Game Ball!!

Carson is doing awesome at t-ball this year! He's hitting and fielding great! His coaches seem to have 'it' together this year. Theyare very supportive and seem to work well together. Carson got the game ball at this game... Here are some shots I got. Oh, seems he's the only one that actually keeps his eyes OPEN while he's hitting!

Wow!

So here is the crazy picture comparison. The first one is of Carrigan about 5 months old, the second is Carson at 5 months.
Amazing

5 months already....?

My favorite...

Fun with mirrors.

I wanted to get some quick pics on the day Carrigan turned 5 months old. We have Carson in some of these same poses. They could be twins. Same blank expression and all. I'll have to see if I can scan them- you'd be amazed!

Carrigan weighed 16.12 ounces at her last visit. Carson at 5 months weighed 17.02 ounces. So she hasn't passed him yet!

Bizzy, bizzy week!

We are just getting back in the swing of things... soccer, t-ball, homework, doctors, dentists, PTA meetings, haircuts, birthday parties, sleepovers, bake sales, field trips and more! That's just one week, we'll see what next week brings.

Carrigan is still coughing pretty bad, but it hasn't hindered her smiling spirit. She's as happy as ever (even if no one is sleeping)! She's now getting breathing treatments every 6 hours, which seems to help minimally. Hopefully we're on the down side. No she's not rolling over, crawling, sitting up or talking back yet. We're just enjoying her cute little personality.

Carson was reluctant to go back to school after spring break, more because he had to wake-up at a certain time. He's been super busy reading, reading and more reading. For meeting his Accelerated Reader goal he gets to have a 'lock-in' at school! We are anxiously planning his birthday party. Mark your calendars... it will be May 2, not sure of the time. Carson was very sweet to share his party with me.

Caelyn has had a rough week getting back to routine. She's unhappy about napping, but it is still very apparent she needs one. I actually drug her off the soccer field crying where she proceeded to pee on herself. All in all that was a great day!

Oh, and Chad and I celebrated our 8 year annivasary on Tuesday. I'm not sure if it's harder to believe I've been married for 8 years, that I have 3 kids or that my oldest son is almost 6! We do know that we are extremely blessed all around.

I still have lots more pics to add... so keep checking back!

Special Days...

Since we know Carson and Caelyn have been pushed to the back burner since Carrigan's birth we came up with their 'special days'. These days are where they have mommy and daddy all to themselves and we can do anything they want. They make all of the decisions. Carson decided to go to Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios. This turned out to be a fantastic idea, as he has difficulties making decisions. At the beginning of the day he was very hesitant, but by the end of the day he knew exactly what he wanted.

Caelyn chose Disney! She knew exactly what she wanted, we also had a great time! Both kids completed enjoyed all of the attention. They behaved like angels. Caelyn really wanted Belle to spin her 'big dress'. She was a great sport and said she would do it only if Caelyn would do it with her!

I'll be posting more trip pictures... Thanks mom for a great vacation!

Florida!!

Our trip began early Sunday morning. We actually left ahead of schedule (we might be getting the hang of this kid thing!) The trip only took 8 hours, due to the fact that Chad seems to think his minivan is a mini-firetruck. The trip was very uneventful, all 3 seemed very excited. The weather when we left NC was aboue 40, when we arrived it was about 80. Poor Carrigan seemed to sweat from the moment we crossed the FL border! It didn't take long for the kids to find the swimming pool.

Monday we tried something a little different. We went to a Pirate Dinner Theater. While we were a little skeptical, it was amazing. During the day Caelyn had developed a fever, Chad a stuffy nose and it was pouring rain outside. So it had the potential to be a miserable night.

Carrigan stayed with grandma and grandpa guy... so it was just the big kids. The whole premise of the pirate show was that each section had their pirate (different colors) representing them. Caelyn and Chad seemed to cheer the loudest (go blue!). Chad even got to participate... he was 'the best pirate' according to the kids! Not only did our blue pirate win the fight, but he also won the girl! It was a great show and a great dinner!

Chad is the one in the middle of the screen... I know hard to see, but it's him!
