My laptop is officially down for the count, sorry it's been so long since I've uploaded! Hopefully it won't be much longer before we figure out what's wrong!

Carson is on his last 2 weeks of school. He is very ready. We've signed him up for some 1/2 day camps this summer, a full day camp in Hendersonville and a week long trip to FL...by himself!

Caelyn has officially graduated from pre-k, only to do it again next year. She does know now that she will be 'repeating' but I'm not sure she understands that it isn't kindergarten. Graduation was very sweet. The pictures are on the broken laptop.

We spent yesterday in Asheville for Ben's birthday. It was a beautiful day and a nice party. The pictures are from our day.

Carrigan has grown literally overnight! She can now roll over both directions and sit-up. She's also eating baby food, our attempts to help her sleep better.

We had a great visit from grandma! She kept the kids busy, and they kept her tired!

Friends...

I can't say enough great things about all of my amazing friends. It seems like this week has been just for you guys! Congrats Ellie... to making it to your last treatment! We love and support you. Besides this picture of you and Carrigan is adorable :)

This is my sweet friend, Landi. Yes, she's only 23 weeks pregnant... with triplet boys! She's beautiful and amazing. Thanks Landi, you're a great friend!
Carrigan's ears.

We got Caelyn's ears pierced at about 9 months. We decided that if we had to do it again we'd do it earlier. So, we did! Carrigan was a trooper. She didn't cry until they finished the second ear. Even then it lasted about 30 seconds. She ate, and hasn't been any different.

Sweet girly ears...

This is Caelyn getting her ears pierced August 20, 2005!
Look ma! I found my toes! She did this for the first time in her crib. I walked in and she had a tight grip on each foot with a look of determination. I've got them!

Carson's new haircut. He has been begging for about 6 months to have his hair like 'daddy'. I was ok with it now that it's gett warmer outside. After she started he didn't say a word, well until he started crying. He says it makes it forehead look big. We love it!

We love livin' in a small town. Once a month Smallsbury has a 'gig' on main street. The shops are open late, there are bounce houses and food. This time the had carriage rides and trolly rides. The weather was perfect and the kids were... perfect! What a great night!
We're getting ready for Carson's big 6th birthday and the last day of school. Caelyn has preschool graduation on Thursday 5/21.

So proud!

So, I'm a little behind. Last week we had a huge party weekend... as we had lots to party about! Carson's 6th birthday (already!). My birthday and Chad's promotion! Lots of friends and family to share it with! We were totally amazed at the monster truck cake a friend made- WOW! And it tasted great!

Carson's birthday gift- a basketball goal!

Many thanks to mom for coming to save the day! We found ourselves in a bit of a scheduling dilema... thanks mom! And she brought cake!!

Promotion day!!!

Today was a special day for us. Chad was officially made a Captain at Charlotte Fire. They had a traditional badge pinning promotional ceremony early this morning. We decided that this day doesn't come often so we kept Carson out of school. The kids were troopers! It was truely a proud moment. Chad works hard, he's great at what he does and he hates us making a fuss over him. Here are some pics from his special day.

'The boys' as Caelyn calls them! Just a couple of the awesome men who Chad has worked with the last 3 years at Station 1o.
